New Undergraduate Students
You are a new undergraduate student if you have never attended Appalachian State University before and you wish to apply to an undergraduate degree program.
New undergraduate students also include those who have earned graduate credit from App State but have never taken an undergraduate course at App State.
To apply as a new undergraduate student and begin your enrollment at Appalachian State University in a summer term, you must follow the admissions policy for all new undergraduates. This link will take you to the Office of Admissions where you can apply online.
New undergraduate students also include those who have been admitted for Fall semester as a First Year or as a Transfer student. If you have been admitted for Fall and want to take a Summer course prior to the Fall term for which you have been admitted, you may contact the Admissions Counselor to make arrangements for eligibility to enroll in a Summer course. This link will take you to the list of Admissions Counselors for your counselor's contact information.
