Returning Students

You are a returning student if

  • you plan to continue your studies as a degree-seeking student (either as a graduate or an undergraduate degree-seeking student) and have you not been enrolled for more than one calendar year at Appalachian State University
  • or, you are academically suspended (not meeting the required academic standard minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA) and want to enroll in Summer Sessions at App State to raise your grade point average by taking new or repeating courses 
  • or, you have graduated with a degree from Appalachian State and want to pursue a second degree
  • or, you have attended Appalachian State before, want to take courses as a non-degree seeking student, and have not been enrolled for more than one calendar year at Appalachian State University 

Returning students must complete the readmission application!
